Cypriot passengers of the cruise liner ”Salamis Glory”, which collided Thursday night off the northern port of Haifa with an Israeli freighter, returned back home safely Saturday.

The 148 passengers flew home on a Cyprus Airways aircraft and arrived at Larnaca airport at 0200 local time.

None of the 500 passengers and crew of the Cypriot cruise ship has suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

However Israeli forces have recovered the bodies of the two crew members who went missing after the ”Shelly” cargo vessel sank, following Thursday’s collision. The remaining 11 members of the crew were rescued.
