CYPRUS: Teachers training on robotics by Frederick U

The Robotics Academy of Frederick University and the Paedagogical Institute of Cyprus recently hosted a workshop in Limassol for primary and secondary school teachers as part of the training programmes in state schools to raise awareness about innovation and information and communication technologies (ICT).
The workshop was led by Frederick U. professors Dr Yiorgos Demetriou and Dr Nikleia Eteokleous in cooperation with the PIC technology training unit.
The workshop included practices related to robotics, as well as applications such as a knowledge object, as well as learning tool.
Presentations included the education packages of LEGO Mindstorms EV3/NXT and LEGO WeDo.
