CYPRUS: CAPO makes 90% of payments to farmers

The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (CAPO) is working at full speed in order to ensure that all farmers receive their subsidies by the end of the month.

 
CAPO board chairman and Commissioner Timis Efthymiou told President Anastasiades while presenting the audited report for 2015, that 90% of subsidies have already been made and the remainder will be paid by the end of the month.
Efthymiou also told the President that CAPO has implemented its own action plan that includes making it a streamlined and efficient organisation, in line with government policy and EU expectations.
