European Copyright Law conference will take place at the Un. of Cyprus

A two-day International Conference on European Copyright Law will take place on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th April at the University of Cyprus.

Organised by the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and among others being sponsored by the governments of USA and France the Conference will be attended by participants from 18 European universities.

Speaking during a press conference here today, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Cyprus Tatiana – Eleni Synodinou noted that the aim of the Conference is to analyse the existing intellectual property protection framework and to find possible solutions relating to implementation problems, adding that an effort will be made to discuss the possibility of a European Copyright Code.
